Oana Mendenhall
Oana's biography:
From her North Carolina studio, Oana Mendenall channels her Romanian roots and artistic training from the Milan Art Institute into creating art that transcends the visual and touches the soul.
Her mixed media paintings are a journey into the heart of consciousness. Her unique blend of abstract Impressionism and sacred geometry awakens a sense of wonder and elevates the spirit. Inspired by her connection to higher dimensions, Oana sees each brushstroke as a vehicle for healing radiating intention outward into the world.
Oana’s artwork has been recognized, nominated and won merits and monetary prices. She currently commissions her art and sells her paintings in exhibits and online.
Passion and creativity is what drives and motivates me, inspiring me to create images of life’s energy, love, moments, colors and movement.
Thoughts, emotions, sounds and actions all carry their own energy. I see, feel, sense and hear their textures, their colors, their sound and signature pattern and then express them through colors on canvas, always guided by my True self and divine guidance. I express through colors the spaces between emotions, the vibration of thoughts and - the silence.
When painting I connect what I see and feel without studying it, or thinking about it. It simply flows, easily and flawlessly, like the breath.
Some of my paintings will remind you of something so close and familiar like something you’ve forgotten, while others will inspire you to take action. Each brush stroke is charged with loving intentions. Oana's paintings are high frequency infused pieces created from depths of love with the intention to uplift Earth’s frequency and to heal Her consciousness.
